I have to commend the Society for Contemporary Craft on their initiative to expand the audience for the collection and appreciation of functional ceramics. If you, or anyone you know may be interested and in the Pittsburgh area, I encourage you to attend, and thank you.
... Unique mugs made by a variety of nationally recognized clay artists will be available for purchase in a range of prices. This is an excellent opportunity to add to your ceramic collection, or to begin collecting! Reservations for Crafted are $20, and this cost will applied to the price of your mug. Mug selection will be on a first come, first served basis, beginning the evening of the event. Enjoy hot specialty drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment with the purchase of a mug. The mugs will be on display in the Store and on our website beginning October 1, 2010.
